Moje ime je Ivana i potomak sam vlastelinske obitelji Gospodnetić iz Dola. Prije nekoliko godina preselila sam se u Selca i sa suprugom obnovila njegovu stoljetnu obiteljsku kuću. Profesionalni sam turistički vodič te certificirani interpretacijski vodič, diplomirana novinarka, planinarka, istraživačica jama, ilustratorica te vlasnica obrta “Butižica” sa svojom prijateljicom Loretom. U mojim pričama osobno vas vodim kroz povijest svoje obitelji, mog sela i otoka te otkrivam recepte iz obiteljske kuharice. Upravo me je ljubav prema Braču potaknula da otvorim vrata svoga doma te vas uvedem u prošlost i barem na trenutak usporim vrijeme.
My name is Ivana from the noble Gospodnetić family from Dol. I am a professional tourist guide and certified interpretation guide, a graduate journalist, mountaineer, cave explorer, illustrator and owner of the small business “Butižica” with my friend Loreta.
In my stories, I guide you through the history of my family, my village and the island, and reveal recipes from the family cookbook.
It was my love for Dol and Brač that inspired me to open the door of my home and take you to the past, slowing down the time at least for a moment.

Moje ime je Loreta i od malih sam nogu okružena kamenom baš kao i pričama kojih su moja rodna Povlja prepuna. Danas živim u Selcima i sa svojom prijateljicom Ivanom vodim obrt “Butižica”. Turističko-hotelijerski komercijalist sam, turistička djelatnica i velika zaljubljenica u baštinu. Svoje goste često provodim kroz našu obiteljsku radionicu obrade kamena i upoznajem ih sa ovim, danas modernim zanatom koji je oblikovao život Selaca. Godinama prikupljam priče s otoka i pomno ih bilježim, osluškujući priče svoje none i sumještana kako bi ih očuvala od zaborava.
My name is Loreta, and I have been immersed in the world of stone from a young age, alongside the legends of my hometown, Povlja. Currently, I reside in the village of Selca. I am a trained tourism and hospitality professional with a background in commercial management. I enjoy sharing the unique history of our region with visitors. Through guided tours of our family-run stone processing workshop, I introduce guests to the traditional craft that has long been integral to the life and culture of Selca. I have been dedicated to documenting local stories passed down by my grandmother and fellow villagers to ensure that they are not lost to time.

This is the real deal!! If you come to Brac please book this experience. Ivana is so lovely and a great story teller, passionate about her history and the future of her family home. The views are breathtaking and so peaceful. The winetasting was amazing and the platter and wine we had with a view including a golden eagle flying overhead is a memory we will treasure forever. Xx

Amazing!! Such a magical place and a wonderful host.
We loved learning about the history of the island of Brač, the town of Dol, and the family Gospodnetic. Their family made wine is woven into the tour and the storytelling. We came away with a deep appreciation for Brač wine and agriculture, and for Dalmatian island life, history, and tradition.
Ivana, the host, is simply the loveliest person!! She’s knowledgable, personable, and made us feel so very welcome.
We came with our three kids (10, 17, 17) and everyone enjoyed it. We felt the experience was so special that we came back with our parents, who are in their 70s, the next day!

This experience was a highlight of our visit to Brac. I am not sure where to even begin: the location is absolutely magical, full of history. filled with great vibes, friendly family and staff. The host is amazing storyteller, very entertaining and educational. Tasting and workshop was more that what we expected- cheese, wine, olives, preserves. We did nit feel rushed at all. Will recommend this experience to all my friends and anyone visiting Brac.

Dol was beautiful and the story and tastings at the Pink Castle where great. Ivana took us back in time with her knowledge of her family and the Island and thought us the interesting history of our holiday destination. We got a look into Brac traditions and the special place she calls home. All the food and wine was very tasty and her homemade souvenirs are super cute.
